Matt and I had always wanted to visit New Orleans and finally found cheap enough tickets to make the trip back in January. The weekend we went DC got hit by a massive snowstorm that produced what got nicknamed “snowcrete.” The stuff took forever to go away and delayed our return by two full days. We had a lovely time, eating and drinking amazing things while enjoying the music and hospitality the city is known for. While Bourbon Street had nothing we cared for, we found going just a block or two off of it meant finding much calmer bars and restaurants. But I’ll stop yapping and share some of the photos I captured of our trip.
