In which I return to Substack after a brief time flirting with Ghost, realizing I missed the social aspect of this site.

I left Substack in a bit of a huff back in February when I realized they refuse to remove folks spreading hate speech from their platform. Thing is, few sites bother to do so anymore so it’s not a big differentiator. And a lot of my absolute favorite writers have their sites here, like
and . So, I’m back. You’ll see a bunch of posts suddenly turning up here all at once as I work to navigate the transition. And, eventually, my domain will send you here rather than there. (Starting 1 November, only one post will be over on my Ghost site, redirecting folks to come here.)
