Bouncing Around
In which I can’t decide what to write about so I bounce between things…
Yes, it’s much later in the day than I’ve typically published my daily posts as, well, most are written in advance then pushed automatically. Today, though, I’m sitting here on the couch next to blankets, a cat, and my husband as I wait for the chicken that goes in our dinner to defrost.
I could write about these teeny hedgehogs I plan to leave around my work for people to find and adopt. I brought them in today but was too scared to leave them anywhere but a friend’s desk.
I could write about how I have so many different ideas for projects that I want to do but am only working for on one knitting WIP. It’s a Baby Surprise Jacket which I don’t remember when I last made one of. How I am thinking of starting a sort of junk journal that would back and forth amongst some friends in this crazy chicken notebook. (But that seems like something for middle schoolers so it may stay fully in my possession.) That I have traced out these song lyrics for a friend of a friend who just got his first office job. I would have started on the stitching part but forgot to grab the needles before it was time for bed last night.

That grilled cheese tomato soup sounds like it could be good, that they should make a highly entertaining Brie, that Wicked branding has gone too far with cleaning projects, that this candle would look very odd only part of it is burned, and that the Target dog is not something I expected to find on a color work sweater

But I’m making dinner tonight and my current book reminds me of when I first met all of my Mother-in-Law’s siblings and their kids and I’d like to take a nap but it’s too late.
Bounce. Bounce. Bounce.

You and your daughter are a matched set! She commented on those candles when we were shopping, especially the muffin one 🤣
